Justyna Dabrowski is a painter and printmaker based in Connecticut. Her work blends traditional painting techniques with mixed media elements to explore themes of belonging, time, and the fragility of memory. Inspired by her family photo albums, Justyna reflects on her experience as a first-generation Polish-American. Through the reimagining and reconstruction of personal snapshots, she reinterprets the narratives of her Polish-American heritage, placing them in new visual contexts that honor both familial history and personal identity.
